Feliz año 2012!!

Diciembre llego con todo y se fue volando como cada año!! Galletas decoradas, pastel de frutas, cena con la familia, caritas felices de mis niños y horas enteras en NORAD siguiendo a Santa como ya se ha vuelto una tradición en casa desde hace mas de 10 años.... no puedo creerlo.... que rápido se pasa el tiempo...

Este año mi princesa y yo coincidimos que Navidad no parecía Navidad... y Año Nuevo que es la fiesta que con menos ilusión esperamos en casa fue la más divertida!! Ademas Nick aprendió un par de chistes que sigue repitiendo cada 2 minutos desde entonces! jajaja!

Los libros llegarón, la casa está un poco más ordenada y nuestro salón esta listo para que regresemos a trabajar.  Pero Nick esta pasando por una etapa de negación al trabajo formal jajajaja!! bueno eso se entiende a los 4 años creo que es normal, así que mientras mi enano pasa la mayor parte de su tiempo libre construyendo aspiradoras... si ASPIRADORAS jajajaja!! Creo que jamás he escrito sobre el amor que siente mi nene por las aspiradoras... electrolux, blue sky, lg, samsung, pero sobre todo koblenz... jajajaja! cada ida al super o a un centro comercial es una visita forzada al área de electrodomésticos a buscar aspiradoras, ver como se abren, como se limpian, si el cable se enreda o solo se apachurra un botón y se guarda, si aspira líquidos, ahhh y ver si nos alcanza para comprarlas jajajaja!! Además ha tenido suerte por que le han regalado dos manuales de aspiradoras que me pide que le lea en lugar de cuentos antes de ir a la cama.... es una verdadera ternura....

También estoy feliz por que en especial uno de los libros que llego es una verdadera maravilla se llama "Creative Homeschooling, A Resource Guide For Smart Families" de la autora Luisa Rivero, y es lo máximo, por que habla exactamente de homeschooling para niños con capacidades sobresalientes o niños genio!! Estoy entre las lagrimas y las carcajadas cada página, es un verdadero bálsamo para el alma el leer comentarios de papas que han pasado y están pasando exactamente por lo mismo que uno pasa, las mismas angustias, los mismos miedos, los mismos asombros, la misma bendición, alegría, maravilla.... como dice en el libro estos niños son simplemente "to much" de TODO, son tan intensos... son tan frágiles, tan fuertes, tan tiernos, tan duros, son una contradicción con patitas jajajaja una verdadera bendición tener el privilegio de ser  su mamá y de poder acompañarlos en este descubrir de absolutamente TODO....

Gracias a Dios y a la vida por un año mas, por este 2011 que pude disfrutar al lado de mi familia en especial de mis nenes amados!!!

Diciembre.

 Ahora si a tiempo con la fecha!!! :) Que rápido se paso el año! Este año no pensábamos poner arbolito, sino nuestra rama navideña jajaja!!  Recorremos los lugares cercanos para buscar algún árbol seco, pongo el tronco en una lata grande con yeso, y cuando fragua listo!! Metemos la rama a la casa y la decoramos jajajaja!! pero bueno los enanitos tenían mucha ilusión de tener árbol, el año pasado toco rama. Esta es la navidad en la que Nick ha disfrutado más, todo lo emociona muchísimo, las luces, los adornos todo... es que a los 4 años todo es mágico y novedoso. Cada año trato de que hagamos alguna manualidad para navidad y la vamos guardando. El nacimiento de las fotos fue de un dibujo que hizo Johiss cuando tenia como 10 años, lo pegue en fibracel y lo recorté con una caladora y ahora tenemos un lindo nacimiento que ella misma hizo.

Este año se nos ocurrió hacer estos adornos con fieltro, listones y demás cosas que encontramos, Nick estaba fascinado, le encanta hacer cosas. Cuando lo estábamos haciendo me dijo: Ah! Creo que ya entendí!! El chiste de la Navidad es que brille no? jajaja!! Cada Navidad con los chicos es mas especial.

Halloween, o mas vale tarde que nunca...

Por fin despues de mas de un mes me he dado tiempo de subir algunas fotos de nuestra celebración de Halloween!

Este año hicimos básicamente 3 cosas,  cupcakes, adornitos para la escalera con pompones y foami, y la linterna de calabaza de cada año!! :) Aquí comparto algunas fotos de lo que hicimos!

Mis enanos disfrutaron mas que nada los cupcakes jajaja!! Y es super lindo como aun cuando la diferencia de edad es tan grande ambos se divierten mucho juntos... son mi vida, mi motor, mi alegría.... verlos divertidos e ilusionados con la calabaza y las demás cositas no tiene precio....

Halloween tiene un significado muy especial para nosotros también, por que es el cumpleaños de mi abuela, ella tiene ya 97 años y es profundamente amada por toda la familia, así que es día de fiesta en casa :)

Monkey´s birthday

Thank God for this awesome 4 years by your side!! You are my SUN!!!! You make me shout, love, scream, laugh, breath… i deeply deeply love you my darling.. my own very special Wild Thingy lol!! love you Nick… Life could not be better than it is today, you are my miracle… my handsome boy…

Learning GREEK!!

Things had been upside down round here as usual lol... i always feel like when we resolve this little trouble right in front of us the things will be normal for once in our family routine... but no mater how many troubles we solve there are always new ones coming right in front of us lol.. i am not complaining about our life at all.... i feel completely grateful and blessed for my family and my life just as it is now... the thing that i am complaining about is my lack of ability to deal with the flow of life in general.. with the ups and downs...
G has not been in the best mode of the universe lately and me neither i guess the work issues has him like that... i hope this gets better when they get solved... here i go again waiting for the things to get in "normal" mode.... Lil princess as usual so beautiful and lovely, sweet & sour like a good teenager, drawing and drawing!! she has been worried about school but she is just a princess and she is doing it great as always.. such a responsible girl.. i feel amazed and blessed to have such a girl... Nick has express a huge interest in learning Greek... i know it sounds weird, but we are starting to get use to the exceptional things that happen while you home school a 3 years old monkey.. sometimes i have mixed emotions... in one side i feel so happy and proud and at the same time i feel worried thinking that maybe i am not going to be able to keep his speed... just pray God to give me guidance, love and lots of patience to fulfil the teacher roll.. yesterday i also discovered that he is able to read some words.. i think is kind of photographic memory more than a real reading thing.. but anyway it is amazing... This are the most awesome kids in the entire universe.. and they have a crazy mom lol!! Yesterday i was trying to change from windows to ubuntu... but the wireless is giving me so much troubles... i love to learn new things each day... I know i am not able to teach my kids about all the topics they need or want.. but what i want to teach them is that sparkle that push me to try to learn about every single thing that cross in my path lol!! such a curious soul since i can remember.....
this has been longer than i expected....

Sweden loves me…. Sweden loves me not… ohh!! Sweden loves meee!!! i hope so…

this is a semi automatic write… i feel so much mixed emotions right now… on one hand i know that if this happen it will make me feel so sad and i would make indirectly sad a lot of people i love… but it feels like a new romance… yes i feel like i am flirting with Sweden lol i know it sounds really odd… but i can´t stop thinking about it.. i want to know more about it… i want to watch pictures, to learn its language… i feel kind of really excited and at the same time i feel a little bit afraid of recognize how much i would love to move our family to that wonderful and cold land… i do not want to recognize that if we are not able to make it, it will mean a huge huge disappointment… and like a little heartbreaking… but i guess that is the way it has to be… letting your feelings and your emotions guide you through this material world… i guess if you do not put your heart inside the decisions that you take you will not enjoy so much when you achieve your goals…. anyway the only thing i can do for now is wait…. patience and grateful…

Home school days…..

So busy round here lately… home school, kids, hubby, cleaning house, cooking… and several other things.. but the only horrible thing is that my lil monkey is with fiver since a couple of days ago… first it seemed to be kind of flue, but later he started with a little bit of troubles on his tummy…. so i am not 100% sure what it is.. i just pray God to take the fever away… he has not an infection so the doctor says he does not need any medicine… lets wait and pray… :)
Anyway he does not feel so bad at all so we are here in the classroom and he is using his twitter lol it is amazing to see a lil 3 years old so happy to have a twitter account and he has almost 100 tweets lol!! he is a blessing, and i love to se how much he and his sister share… she was the one that had the idea of the twitter account and it has been awesome because he used to just write on the word pad and all those beautiful things were lost every time he closed the window, but now is like having a record of his writing progress..

Welcome to the old times!!!! ;)

 What a wonderful weekend!!! We are bringing back to life several things round here and today it was the music corner in the living room!!! taking out all the old LP and sharing them with the kids!!!! I feel each day we are better than the day before, having more time to relax and more space to enjoy a nice and happy family life… i love my family… i feel complete blessed.. and I feel like is never enough how grateful i feel with God for all the joy and blessing that i receive and live each day… love you my beloved G…. my beautiful Princess and my handsome little monkey…. you are my angels and my entire life!!!! :)

Stairway to heaven……….. :)

Por fin despues de varios años de construcción estamos a punto de poder mudarnos al segundo piso de la casa!!! Estamos muy emocionados… durante mucho tiempo sentía como que todo estaba en pausa, mis ganas de oir música, de pintar, de dibujar, de hacer muchas muchas cosas, por que todo eso se quedo como guardado junto con las cajas de mis oleos que están en la bodega…. pero ahora siento algo padrísisisisimo!!! como que todo eso quiere estallar y viene una época de mucha creatividad y de hacer mil cosas que antes estaban nada mas como planes…. estoy felíz felíz!!!! y todo eso gracias a la ESCALERA jajajaja!! es impresionante como una escalera puede hacer tanta diferencia en la vida de una familia :)

So much without writing…..

i miss to write on here… life has been a little complicated lately… to much things round the house with all the improvements and arranges…. workers… dust and piles and more piles of things every single place where you put your eyes… i am so glad this is going to change soon.. i can believe that in a couple of weeks our life quality is going to change so much for better.. each one of us is going to be able to have our own space and the classroom will be a real thing not just a crazy dream… home school will begin in a couple of weeks and i feel so excited about it!! i can´t wait!!! i am looking so forward to establish our daily schedule at home and the extra classes just a couple of days at the week…The princess will start highschool!!! so trilled about that!! she is becoming such a wonderful woman… it is amazing how intelligent, smart, talented and gifted girl she is!! and it will be completely awesome to have her so early each day instead of waiting till almost 4 pm to have her home, she will normally arrive at 1:30 :)
so thankful for all the blessings around us…..

I want to be more aware off all the blessings that sometimes with the rush of daily life i think that i take for granted….. so just because of that i want to give a huge THANK YOU! to God!! to the life!! and to the entire Universe…..

5. Each day i wake up, and find a sweet pair of tinny bright eyes looking at me… :)

it is amazing how much a tinny change can improve the way the entire house looks!! i am working so much more round here and i feel so happy to see my kids enjoying the fruit of all that hard housework!!

last week i was crazy with all my teenager princess magazines over the floor!! and then i had an idea and i covered an old box with some fancy cloth and spangles and it looks pretty good!!

and i feel so much relief after i was able to get rid of the horrible table that was in the kitchen!!! now the second fridge is in it’s place!! and now the dinning room looks like a real dinning room!!! i am sooooooo happyyyyyy!! it feels like fresh air!!!!

Tanta diversión con una caja, pintura y un poco de papel!!

Este es el proyecto mas reciente que hemos realizado, lo hicimos ayer en la tarde y ha sido lo máximo!!
Hoy en cuanto abrió el ojo lo primero que me dijo fue:
-Mami… Gracias por que construimos mi carrito blue!!!
:) y pues bien se sabe que niños felices = mamá feliz!!!!

Todo en orden.

Me llama muchísimo la atención desde que Nicolás era pequeñito todo lo forma…. todo… sus galletas, carritos, calcetines, salchichas. crayolas… T O D O!! Juega y avienta todo, disfruta mucho con sus juguetes pero después de un ratito forma todo y se pone a contarlos jajaja!! además ama levantar todo cuando termina de jugar… yo apuesto que esta alegría por el orden no le dura hasta los 12 jajaja!! ya veremos…. mientras tanto disfrutamos contando y ordenando todo una y otra vez!!! :)
